6 Months!
My daughter is a half year old, where in the world has the time gone? I am absolutely loving every second I get with her - she is so much fun!!
At six months Brooklynne is sitting up like a champ, and she loves to play sitting up. In fact, she'd rather play sitting up.
She has started playing catch. She can't throw the ball, but she can put her hands around the ball and stop it when it's rolled to her.
She still takes four naps a day, although her nap schedule has been crazy wonky the past two weeks of vacation.
She LOVES to talk. While in the pool on Tuesday, she started talking in a whole new way, which was super loud and so funny!
She said "mama" today. I know it wasn't on purpose, but she's building on what she knows, and repeating what I say (it did make me really happy, though).
She sleeps on her tummy for all naps and night time now, and the swaddle is just around her abdomen and feet, no longer around her arms.
She's totally teething, drooling up a storm, and I had to give her baby orajel a few days ago.
She loves to drink water out of her bottle or her cool new sippy cup that seems to also act as a teething toy.
She loves to take her pacifier out of her mouth and put it back in, but it seems like she forgets that she can put it back in when she's going to sleep; she takes it right out.
She loves Barley, petting his paws and ears when he lays close to her (it's almost been two weeks since we've seen him).
She HATES her car seat, which is new to this trip, but we've been driving around a lot more than I usually do, so she's been in and out of her seat.
